Mick - way back in 1990, the task of arranging your Dad's funeral fell to us both. At the time, I put all the paperwork in an envelope, knowing that the money that came in had been enough to cover any bills and the funeral costs with a little bit left over, and never looked at it again until recently. Well, now I have looked at it finally - after over 23 years and it worked out that there was £66 left over after funeral costs etc.( £ some of this was in old bank notes that I have had to change at the bank branch! -£20 of your Dad's, returned by the hospice, and some money from your Dad's sister in lieu of flowers! ) So I am.paying that £66 in to this fund. I have sent the paperwork I had to your niece, Janet, as there could be something there that she wants to keep xx
